Our Impact

One click or call does it all. Since its creation, LA Strong has:

  • Facilitated and connected over 50,000 units of product donations of essential goods and services with over 5,000 people, connecting people with critical, hard-to-access products, information and support in real time

  • Centralized over 300 volunteers with opportunities to assist, including sign up systems to organize scheduling

  • Built and are hosting โ€œ650-Ask-Maxiโ€ (650-275-6294), a voice-activated digital assistant using AI and voice recognition that provides timely answers and actionable information for those affected by the LA Fires.

  • Created a click-to-call database with all of the published organizations phone numbers and website addresses who received a combined total of $50 Million in LA Fire Relief Concert Funds from The Annenberg Foundation to simplify outreach for those in need

  • Created a 24/7 hotline and resource directory with information and links to over 35 national, state and city governmental and civic organizations

  • Partnered with over 50 companies and organizations to collectively support and communicate each other's relief efforts

  • Partnered with and set up 2 relief locations with Chabad of Malibu and Safe Place for Youth in Venice Beach to offer a comprehensive assortment of products 6 days a week, with support and information that is updated daily

  • Provided a platform for volunteers on Instagram to follow and share their experiences

  • Strengthened bonds between the people of Los Angeles, around the country and world, creating deep personal connections among like-minded individuals

  • Eased emotional pain, stress and anxiety by providing much-needed product and people support
